Job Description:

As an Engineering Manager , you will join our dynamic team which will contribute to determine company-wide technology strategy including its implementation and optimization in a specific product engineering team. You will work closely with various teams to ensure overall system architecture of the company is improving in the intended direction.

The process will be involving but not limited to understand the business goals, translating the business requirements to non-functional requirements, design the to-be state of the related systems, analysis the gap along with the required steps to achieve the to-be state, lead or drive the implementation of the steps.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret Business Needs, translating business goals and requirements to technology strategy and non-functional requirements.
• Design and architect cloud solutions using AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Design and architect event-driven microservices.
• Develop and maintain architectural diagrams, design documents, and other artifacts.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, reliable, cost-effective, and easy-to-maintain as well as expand.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams.
• Stay updated with the latest cloud technologies and industry trends.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in solution architecture with a focus on cloud technologies.
• 5+ years of experience in working with microservices and event-driven architectures with the focus on Travel industry.
• Experience with agile methodologies and DevOps/SRE practices.
• Experience developing architecture blueprints, strategies and roadmaps.
• Experience delivering presentations to senior-level executives and technical audiences.
• Proficiency in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of various backend development languages like Java, Python, or Scala.
• Good understanding of various database technologies like PostgreSQL and MongoDB
• Skilled in various frontend web development languages like JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
• Strong understanding of web technologies and frameworks such as Spring.
• Strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
