Engineering Manager

About our group:

The BE Test process group is working for Drive BE Test process including CERT Yield improvement and scrap cost reduction, able to meet the metric of Quality.

About the role - you will:

• PCO Release and control, including risk management, follow SOP.
• Drive build Configuration management per BOM / ECN or any restriction of each customer. (Head, Media, Firmware, Servo code...) per SOP.
• Review and provide the assumption of Yield and Test time to IE/Production by rolling into the FROST system.
• Fast review and escalate any CERT Yield triggering daily basis, providing the cotainment action / poential solution to mitigating any shipment impact.
• Expedite Test time reduction to meet the budget POR or planning assumption.
• Define and provide the proposal of rework / BE process flow qualification.
• Continuous Improvement on Drive scrap cost.

About you:

• An effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills to lead cross-functional teams and align with the OKRs.
• Experienced in team leadership, collaboration, and providing training and guidance.
• Skilled in Data analysis, Problem solving, Coaching, and Conflict resolution.
• Working under high pressure.

Your experience includes:

• Proficiency in Hard Disk Drive knowledge or Drive Test Process.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis using various tools.
• Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience in Engineering or relating field.
