Skills And Experience Required
- 8+ years in software development, including 3+ years in a people-management role; familiarity with embedded Linux platforms (especially OpenWrt), mobile development lifecycles (Android), and manufacturing tools.
- Lead a multidisciplinary team of embedded software, QA, mobile, and test automation engineers.
- Define and enforce software development lifecycle practices, from sprint planning to release coordination.
- Oversee all software programs, including embedded Linux firmware (OpenWrt-based), an Android app, and production automation tools.
- Drive delivery of key milestones by managing trade-offs, mitigating risks, and ensuring tight integration between software and hardware systems.
- Build a high-performance culture by mentoring technical leads and providing coaching on decision-making and stakeholder engagement.
