Engineering Manager

Engineering Manager (Electrical) | Power Generation | Singapore

Lighthouse Executives are partnering with a leading global power generation OEM with a strong and growing presence across Asia Pacific, to source an experienced Engineering Manager specialising in Electrical Engineering.

This is a highly technical, customer-facing role sitting at the intersection of engineering and commercial - you will own the electrical scope of major CCGT project proposals, engage directly with developers, EPCs and consultants, and represent the company at the highest technical level including industry conferences and seminars.

What you will be doing:

• Leading the preparation of technical proposals for the electrical and generator scope of CCGT and steam power projects across Asia Pacific
• Responding to technical clarifications and leading negotiations with customers, developers, and EPC contractors
• Coordinating closely with HQ engineering teams and manufacturing partners in Japan to develop competitive solutions
• Conducting risk assessments on technical specifications, commercial terms, and project schedules
• Building and maintaining strong customer relationships to identify new business opportunities early
• Supporting project execution from award through to technical handover
• Presenting technical solutions at customer meetings, seminars, and industry events

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an electrical engineer specifically in power generation — CCGT or thermal power plants
• Proven experience bidding on large gas turbine or combined cycle projects
• Strong technical knowledge of CCGT plant electrical systems including generators, HV systems, and associated equipment
• Experience preparing technical proposals and engaging customers in a commercial context
• Confident presenter and communicator - comfortable at all levels including large industry events
• Strong stakeholder management skills across internal and external parties
• Singapore Citizens and PRs preferred - EP holders with the right experience will be considered

What this is not

This role is not suited to candidates whose primary expertise is in Instrumentation & Control, SCADA, DCS, PLC or building automation systems.
