We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager/Senior Engineering Manager role with a strong background in Java-based enterprise application development, engineering leadership, and large-scale distributed systems. The ideal candidate will have 10-15 years of software development experience, including 3-5 years in engineering management, leading high-performing teams and delivering mission-critical applications.
The role requires balancing technical leadership, people management, architecture decision-making, and execution excellence while driving innovation and engineering best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership
- Lead the design and development of scalable, secure, and high-performance applications using:
- Java 8/11/17+
- Spring Boot
- Spring Cloud
- Hibernate/JPA
- RESTful APIs & Microservices
- Define system architecture and technology roadmaps.
- Review architecture, design documents, and code to ensure quality and scalability.
- Drive cloud-native application development and modernization initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to engineering standards, design patterns, and security best practices.
Engineering Management
- Lead and manage teams of 10-25 engineers, including developers, tech leads, and architects.
- Hire, onboard, mentor, and retain top engineering talent.
- Conduct performance reviews, career development discussions, and succession planning.
- Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Drive Agile/Scrum ceremonies and delivery excellence.
Delivery & Execution
- Own end-to-end delivery of projects from requirements through production deployment.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, QA teams, and business stakeholders.
- Drive sprint planning, estimation, release planning, and risk management.
- Ensure high-quality releases with predictable delivery timelines.
- Monitor engineering metrics, team productivity, and operational excellence.
Cloud & DevOps
- Drive adoption of:

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 10-15 years of software engineering experience.
- Minimum 3-5 years of people management experience.
