We are looking for a motivated Service Manager to support the installation, setup,and servicing of equipment for our customers. You will meet and interact withcustomers on a daily basis, providing technical analysis and interpreting testresults to resolve equipment and system-related issues.
The role requires troubleshooting skills,hands-on technical work, and the ability to deliver high-quality servicesupport to ensure customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Provide on-site service and technical support for new and existing customers, including equipment installation, servicing, maintenance, and upgrades.
- Troubleshoot equipment and system issues, analyse test results, and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Perform equipment assembly, installation, machine setup, commissioning, servicing, maintenance, repair, and relocation when required.
- Conduct technical analysis for equipment modifications or upgrades according to customer requirements.
- Communicate regularly with customers to understand issues and provide timely technical support.
- Update customers on the service work performed and recommend equipment repairs or system improvements when necessary.
- Prepare and submit service reports after each service activity or customer site visit.
- Work closely with internal teams to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth project implementation.
- Duties include but are not limited to equipment installation, servicing, maintenance, repair, machine setup and relocation.
Requirements & Skills
- Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics Engineering, or related field.
- At least 10 years of relevant field service or technical support experience preferred.
- Experience in the semiconductor or electronics manufacturing industry will be an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of PLC programming or SolidWorks will be an added advantage.
- Good troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Willing to travel to customer sites when required.
