Engineering Manager

Responsibilities:

• Set the engineering strategy and ensure it aligns with organizational goals.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize and manage product roadmaps.
• Build and maintain long-term technical plans to meet evolving business and infrastructure needs.
• Coach and mentor engineers, providing feedback and guidance to support growth.
• Drive initiatives to enhance quality, reliability, security, and overall engineering effectiveness.
• Champion best practices that foster a strong engineering culture.
• Support recruitment, especially for senior technical roles.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience, managing at least 5 direct reports.
• Proven track record building and scaling large, high-availability software systems.
• Strong full-stack knowledge: modern frontend (Next.js/React.js) and backend (Java/TypeScript).
• A balance of technical expertise and leadership soft skills.
• Passion for engineering excellence; you see software as a team sport.
