Engineering Manager (Electrical / Turbomachinery)

We are partnering with a leading engineering organization supporting large-scale power generation projects across the APAC region, and they are looking to hire an Engineering Manager (Electrical) to join their growing team.

This role will focus on technical proposal leadership, client engagement, and engineering coordination for major power plant projects, particularly within Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT), gas turbine, and generator systems.

The successful candidate will play a key role in driving bidding strategies, supporting EPC project execution, and engaging with developers, utilities, and EPC partners across the region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of technical proposals and engineering solutions for large-scale power generation projects.
• Support bid strategies and ensure proposals align with technical, commercial, and contractual requirements.
• Coordinate with internal engineering teams to develop competitive and technically sound solutions.
• Engage closely with developers, EPC contractors, and power utilities throughout project bidding and execution stages.
• Provide technical expertise during client meetings, technical clarifications, and proposal discussions.
• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the power generation value chain.
• Support engineering activities related to power plant electrical and instrumentation & control systems.
• Provide technical oversight during project execution to ensure alignment with project specifications and standards.
• Work cross-functionally with engineering, project management, and commercial teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Contribute to the execution of large-scale power plant projects across the APAC region.
• Provide technical input during contract negotiations and project development phases.
• Support continuous improvement of proposal and engineering processes.

Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Approximately 810 years of experience in power plant engineering or EPC environments.
• Experience supporting power generation projects, particularly CCGT, gas turbines, or generator systems.
• Strong background in technical proposal development, project bidding, and engineering coordination.
• Experience working with developers, EPC contractors, or utilities in the power generation sector.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
