Job Overview
You will serve as Assistant Site Lead with accountability for overall site performance, acting as deputy to the Site Lead with authority to make operational decisions in consultation with the Site Lead. Your primary responsibility is maintaining all site facilities hard services, civil, structural and architectural systems in optimal condition while ensuring site-level KPIs, deliverables, and compliance standards are consistently met. You must follow Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and EHS requirements while managing facility and HVAC operations to support daily client operations and general business activities with 24/7 standby responsibilities.
Key Roles And Responsibilities
Site Leadership and Accountability (PRIMARY PRIORITY)
Overall Site Performance:
- Act as official deputy to Site Lead, consulting on all major operational decisions and strategic matters
- Report directly to Site Lead on all site performance, issues, and initiatives
- Take direct accountability for achieving all site KPIs and performance metrics
- Own responsibility for avoiding penalties through proactive management and compliance

- Manage and control Engineering budget with full P&L accountability

- Compile data and work with Finance team for budget forecasting

Financial Reporting and Analysis:

Technical Leadership (CORE FOCUS)
HVAC Engineering Excellence:
- Serve as primary technical expert for all HVAC systems critical to GMP operations
- Maintain and optimize HVAC performance to meet critical environmental parameters
- Lead HVAC troubleshooting, maintenance strategy development, and system improvements
- Ensure HVAC systems support laboratory operations and business activities continuously
- Apply risk-based approaches to HVAC maintenance programs

Facility Operations:
- Maintain all site facilities hard services within GMP and EHS requirements

Experience:
- 5-8 years of experience in engineering operations and facilities/process equipment maintenance
- 5+ years facilities/equipment maintenance in GxP environment
