We're looking for a hands-on Software Development Lead to drive delivery, guide a high-performing engineering team, and build scalable, high-quality digital products aligned with business goals.
What you'll be doing:
- Lead and mentor a team of developers, ensuring quality delivery, strong collaboration, and continuous improvement
- Partner with Business Analysts, Architects, and QA teams to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions
- Design and contribute to application architecture, frameworks, and reusable components across projects
- Own development standards including code quality, testing practices, documentation, and secure coding
- Support project planning through effort estimation, task breakdown, and stakeholder communication
What we're looking for:
- Strong hands-on experience in Java (J2EE), SQL, and modern backend development practices
- Experience building RESTful APIs using Spring Boot, with exposure to secure and scalable architectures
- Familiarity with frontend technologies such as Angular, React, or modern JavaScript frameworks
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
- Exposure to messaging systems (e.g., Kafka, IBM MQ, Solace) and distributed system design
