ENGINEERING COORDINATOR

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Reviews and interpret design drawings and specifications as required in a project.
• Implements standard code of practice and project specifications for steel material, welding, surface treatment, etc.
• Technical clarification, submission of RFI/TQ/RFA.
• Proposes better engineering alternatives and connection details.
• Reviews structural model and shop drawing.
• Leads a workgroup to carry out engineering coordination and detailing for projects.
• Monitors shop drawing schedules and prepare weekly progress report.
• Undertaking duties/assignments as and when appropriately assigned by the Superior/Head of the Department.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree/Diploma in Structural/Civil/ and Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 4-year experience in structural steel engineering coordinating.
• Good knowledge in detailing software (AutoCAD, TEKLA Structures, and Microsoft Office suite).
• Good communication skills and effective team player.
• Self-starter and can work under pressure.

NOTE:

• Working Hours: 5.5day work week, 8am-525pm M-F, 8am-1200noon Sat (Alternate Saturday Off)
