Job Summary
Oversee and optimize building systems and property management initiatives from construction to occupancy, ensuring compliance, energy efficiency, and operational excellence in high-end properties.
Responsibilities
- Oversee water supply, HVAC, electrical, and fire protection systems to ensure safe and efficient building operations
- Ensure compliance with safety, maintenance, energy management standards, and local regulations including ISO standards
- Lead engineering and property management projects from construction through occupancy to successful completion
- Manage budgets, timelines, and resources to deliver property upgrades and maintenance within scope and cost
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align leasing and operational plans with property management goals
- Monitor and optimize building management systems to achieve energy savings and enable predictive maintenance
- Develop and implement data collection strategies to track building performance and operational metrics accurately
- Generate detailed reports on operational performance, system efficiency, and project progress for informed decision-making
Required competencies and certifications
- Proven expertise in managing water supply, HVAC, and fire protection systems
- Proficiency in building management software and maintenance strategies
- Strong skills in data analytics to drive cost optimization and operational improvements
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and project management skills
- Proficiency in CAD and other technical tools
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Familiarity with IoT devices and their application in building operations
- Understanding of AI applications in building management for sustainability and operational efficiency
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Property Management, or related field, OR diploma with at least 20 years of relevant experience
- Minimum 8 years of experience in property management or engineering roles, including experience with high-end properties
