Engineering Associate

Job Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve machine and process-related issues perform repairs and determine the most effective corrective actions.
• Escalate complex equipment problems with detailed analysis to assist Tool/Process Owners in resolving issues efficiently.
• Serve as the primary point of contact and supervisor for shift technicians.
• Oversee the Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) schedule, ensuring all tasks are completed within the designated timeframe.
• Regularly review and update the TPM checklist, ensuring strict adherence to procedures by all technicians.
• Collaborate with Process and Tool Owners on Continuous Improvement Projects (CIP) aimed at enhancing yield and minimizing machine downtime.
• Support ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the Team Leader.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with cleanroom standards and protocols.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed and participate in a rotating 12-hour shift schedule

Job Requirements

• Diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Mechatronics Engineering or any other relevant Engineering discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of equipment experience in semiconductor industry is required.
• A team player with good communication, presentation and analytical skills
• Experience in Tape & reel tool or visual inspection will be an advantage.
• Proficient in MS Office application
• Knowledge in fabguard, promis, minitab will be an advantage
