As an Engineering Assistant, you will support various engineering and operational functions within a semiconductor manufacturing environment. Depending on department allocation, your responsibilities may include:
- Assist in monitoring production performance metrics and support implementation of automation initiatives, including autonomous mobile robot (AMR) deployment
- Document workflows, track project progress, and troubleshoot basic technical issues to support process optimisation and Industry 4.0 initiatives
- Support engineering and operational activities while undergoing structured training to develop into a certified trainer, ensuring effective knowledge transfer and process compliance
- Provide administrative and technical support to the Quality Engineering team, including maintaining and optimising Statistical Process Control (SPC) systems and supporting audit requirements
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment to ensure smooth production operations
- Support production by handling tasks such as chemical refilling and ensuring equipment readiness
Requirements: - NITEC / Higher NITEC in Engineering (e.g. Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics or related disciplines)
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Comfortable working in either office hours or shift-based arrangements (depending on department)
- Able to work in a cleanroom environment where required
- Comfortable handling equipment and, where applicable, working with chemicals in a controlled setting
- Good teamwork and communication skills to collaborate with engineering and operations teams
