Engineering Assistant, Costing (Precision Machining)

Job Description

We are seeking a Costing Engineering Assistant to support our team in preparing and following up on quotations. The role involves interpreting technical drawings, creating Bills of Materials (BOMs), and managing routing processes. You will also prepare detailed child part drawings and ensure all relevant documents are accurately maintained.

Key Responsibilities

• Create child part drawings using SolidWorks.

• Prepare the Bill of Materials (BOM) for RFD.

• Define raw material specifications, including size, treatment, sub-contracting process, and standard parts.

• Coordinate with Supply Chain Management (SCM) to obtain quotations.

• Consolidate all information into the costing format.

Requirements

• Higher NITEC or Diploma in Mechanical or Precision Engineering.

• Minimum of 2 years relevant working experience.

• Good understanding of CNC machining, SolidWorks (or similar CAD software), manufacturing processes, surface treatments, and materials.

Other Information

• Working Hours : 8.15am to 5.30pm (Mon-Fri)

• Location : Changi North

• Company Bus : Pick up at Ang Mo Kio, Yishun, Hougang, Punggol, Pasir Ris, Bedok, Tampines MRT/Interchanges
