Job Summary
You will oversee site operations by coordinating with consultants and contractors, resolving technical issues, supervising work progress, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards to drive successful project delivery.
Responsibilities
- Attend site meetings with consultants and main contractors to align project objectives and resolve issues
- Analyze drawing details and coordinate with stakeholders to address technical and site challenges
- Supervise on-site work progress to ensure adherence to project plans and quality standards
- Collaborate with project managers to clarify project requirements, specifications, and expectations
- Maintain accurate records of materials used, labor hours, and equipment utilization for project tracking
- Provide regular progress updates and report challenges and milestones to project stakeholders
- Prepare and submit cost estimates, progress reports, and budget updates to support project financial management
- Negotiate contracts and manage procurement of materials and equipment to meet project needs
- Participate in project planning and scheduling to optimize resource allocation and timelines
- Use construction management software and tools proficiently to enhance project coordination and documentation
- Monitor contractor compliance with site safety regulations and procedures during execution phases
- Conduct ongoing audits to ensure engineering and safety standards are met by staff and external contractors
- Undertake additional duties assigned by management to support project and organizational goals
