Engineer (USV)

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the preventive and corrective maintenance of USVs. This role requires a strong background in networking, software, and digital services.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform maintenance and troubleshooting of naval systems to ensure optimal performance
2. Provide technical support and training to customers and end-users
3. Stay updated with the latest advancements in unmanned systems and maritime technologies
4. Willingness to adopt new technologies, including AI, machine learning, and automation tools

Requirements

Skillset Requirements:

• Strong foundation in electronics engineering, IT, or digital and network engineering principles
• Proficiency in networking concepts and digital services
• Ability to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on naval systems
• Ability to assess situations, identify issues, and develop effective solutions
• Adaptability, curiosity, and a proactive approach to problem-solving and innovation

Academic Qualification:

• Diploma/Degree in Electronics Engineering/ IT/ Digital and Network Engineering
• Other certifications with Electronics related modules may also apply
• Ex-RSN personnel with experience in electronics systems may also apply
• Experience in electrical works is an added bonus

Experience:

• Working knowledge and experience on electronics systems such as radars, communications, and weapon systems are advantageous but not required

• Good interpersonal skill
• Good teamwork and discipline
