Responsibilities:
- Oversee project execution, scheduling, and progress monitoring across assigned construction activities.
- Prepare project reports in Japanese for headquarters reporting.
- Supervise subcontractors and site personnel, assign work tasks, and maintain accurate site progress records.
- Coordinate with the design team to review, clarify, and resolve design-related matters.
- Liaise with relevant project stakeholders to facilitate inspections and site compliance activities.
- Ensure all works are completed in accordance with project specifications and quality standards.
- Monitor and follow up on defect rectification and quality improvement measures.
- Track manpower deployment and project progress against schedules.
- Prepare and compile project handover documentation, including O&M manuals and relevant quality certification requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Proficiency in Japanese language for liaising with Japanese-speaking clients and stakeholders.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the construction industry.
- Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and MS Project.
- Ability to work independently with a proactive and self-motivated approach.
