Job Description

  • To develop and generate aircraft EMI/EMC acceptance/ certification test plans and procedures for aircraft/ avionics system/ avionics components (i.e., MIL-STD-464, ARP5416A etc.)
  • To manage and conduct aircraft acceptance/ certification test on aircraft/ avionics system/ avionics components.
  • To develop and generate component/ system EMI/EMC acceptance/ certification test plans and procedures for avionics system/ avionics component (i.e.MIL-STD-461, DO-160 etc.)
  • To manage and conduct component/ system EMI/EMC acceptance/ certification test plans and procedures for avionics system/ avionics component.
  • Report and conduct presentation on the acceptance/ certification test plan and result to the relevant airworthiness authority.
  • Able to work in military bases.

Qualification

  • Degree/Diploma in Electronics & Electrical Engineering and/or possess relevant work experience in the EMI/EMC related industry
  • Possess knowledge and understanding of RF communication system and principles to compliances to RFC/EMI/EMC requirements
  • Knowledge of common EMC standard e.g. MIL-STD-461, DO-160, MIL-STD-464 etc. is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of general aircraft/avionics system is an advantage.

Relevant Experience

Experiencesin the following areas would be considered/ preferred:

  • Military aircraft/ avionic testing
  • Electromagnetic Interference (EMI)/ Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) testing
  • Familiar withmilitary flight operation support
  • Aircrew or operators of military/ civil aircraft systems
