We seek driven individuals to join DSTA, where you will design, develop, integrate, test and operationalise capabilities with game changing technologies for national security.
Examples Include
- Implementing Artificial Intelligence (AI)-powered personalised training systems to optimise training effectiveness
- Applying Data Analytics (DA) to facilitate performance analysis, identify areas for improvement and drive data-based decisions
- Harnessing Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR) and Mixed Reality (MR) to create realistic and experiential training environments
- Identifying emerging trends and innovating solutions for training systems
- Conducting proof-of-concept studies and creating prototypes to demonstrate how technologies like gamification can shape new training paradigms
- Integrating leading-edge defence capabilities into training systems to deliver operational training capabilities for the SAF
SCOPE OF WORK
You will work in a cross-disciplinary team of engineers with experienced mentors, and hone your knowledge of Training Simulators to:
- Develop, test, and deliver game-changing engineering solutions
- Architect and integrate best-of-breed systems worldwide to deliver cohesive capabilities
- Experiment and evaluate new technologies for operationalisation
- Ensure products meet the highest standards of performance, safety and reliability
- Collaborate and co-develop technologies with leading organisations, companies and research institutions from both Singapore and internationally
- Manage and improve the systems to meet operational requirements
- Tertiary qualification in Computer Engineering, or Electrical and Electronic Engineering
- A keen interest in gaming technologies and a passion for exploring the diverse possibilities of VR, AR, and MR
- Innovative and willing to learn new skills and expand into exciting new tech domains
- Dynamic personality with good interpersonal skills; self-driven with a can-do spirit
- Willing to travel for overseas work trips
