Engineer (Quotation & Proposal)

A well established company in Singapore, supplier of machinery, equipment & system for beverage and liquid-food processing industry, innovative process technology solutions for beverage producers in the Asia-Pacific region.

Work Location: nearest Mrt Tanjong Pagar

Responsibilities

Review customer enquiries, RFQs, technical specifications, and drawings.

Prepare quotations, cost estimations, and commercial proposals.

Liaise with suppliers and vendors to obtain pricing and lead-time information.

Coordinate with internal departments to gather technical and costing information.

Prepare BOMs and costing calculations.

Analyze project requirements and provide cost-effective solutions.

Maintain quotation records and supporting documentation.

Support tender submissions and customer clarification requests.

Follow up on quotation status and support the sales process.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, or related disciplines.

Graduates, no related experience are welcome to apply.

Candidates with experience in quotation, estimation, project coordination, technical sales, or engineering roles are welcome to apply.

Ability to read engineering drawings would be advantageous.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.

Strong analytical and numerical skills.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and attention to detail.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Engineering background with an interest in commercial and costing functions.

Comfortable working with numbers and technical information.

Organized and able to manage multiple quotations simultaneously.

Able to communicate with suppliers, customers, and internal stakeholders.
