Our esteemed client, an established MNC, is searching for a Engineer (Quality & Environment):
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance of quality and environmental management systems.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of IATF16949, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 13485 standards.
- Ensure understanding and compliance with the company's Quality, Environmental, OH&S policies, environmental aspects and impacts, safety risk assessments, and information security requirements.
- Support departmental quality improvement and efficiency projects.
- Conduct internal QEMS audits and coordinate with internal departments for external audits, including customer and vendor audits.
- Follow up with relevant departments on corrective actions after internal, external, or customer audits.
- Promote and coordinate E-Kaizen and EMS activities.
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards and maintain QEMS documentation and records.
- Observe handling restrictions throughout the information lifecycle to ensure information security.
- Participate in Emergency Response Plan (ERP) activities and contribute to Environmental Management Programmes (EMP).
- Report quality, environmental, safety, and information security incidents or risks to the relevant authority.
- Keep updated with new or revised quality, environmental, safety, and information security standards and requirements.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the superior.
Job Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering or other relevant technical discipline from a recognized university.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in engineering or quality assurance.
- Experience in a similar engineering role or electroplating industry will be an advantage.
- Experience in supplier management and product qualification is preferred.
- Certified Lead/Internal Auditor for ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 13485, and IATF16949 is an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of Automotive Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, MSA, FMEA, SPC) is preferred.
- Knowledge of 8D problem-solving tools (Fishbone Diagram, 5-Why, etc.) and statistical analysis tools such as Minitab or JMP is advantageous.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work independently.
