Job Summary
Engineer responsible for developing and marketing new medical device products, collaborating with internal teams and external partners, supporting regulatory compliance, and providing technical training to customers.
Responsibilities
- Develop new medical device products through concentric and conglomerate diversification strategies
- Market and apply new products to meet customer and hospital needs
- Represent CSS in collaborative meetings with business partners and hospitals to advance product development
- Update stakeholders on new product developments and market penetration progress
- Monitor and report on the status of new product trials to ensure timely progress
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to align product offerings with customer requirements
- Communicate with the Quality Assurance department on regulatory affairs and compliance matters
- Deliver application training to customers to ensure effective product use
- Support engineering projects by providing technical expertise and assistance
- Review and approve technical drawings, product specifications, and quality reports to maintain standards
- Manage product registration, document submission, and provide technical advice related to regulatory affairs
Accountability
- Ensure new product development projects progress according to schedule
- Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for future product development
- Work closely with staff across departments, customers, and suppliers/vendors to facilitate product success
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Degree in Medicine, Medical Technology, or Life Sciences
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Knowledge of ISO standards and CE marking processes is advantageous
- 2-3 years of experience in product development or application fields is beneficial
