Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, verify, and optimize SMT machine programs to support production requirements.
• Support new product introduction (NPI) and engineering change implementation.
• Monitor SMT processes and troubleshoot production or equipment issues.
• Analyze production data and implement corrective actions to improve performance.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance and ensure SMT equipment readiness.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, yield, and OEE.
• Manage critical spare parts inventory and coordinate with suppliers when required.
• Maintain process documentation and ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, and Engineering teams to achieve operational targets.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of SMT processes, including solder paste printing, SPI, mounter, reflow, and AOI.
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
• Familiarity with OEE, yield improvement, and manufacturing systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Knowledge of MES or ERP systems is an advantage.
