Responsibilities:
Responsible for planning, scheduling, and implementing new tool installations, relocations, and chamber retrofits.
Own and develop equipment maintenance procedures and schedules
Work with the process owners to develop, prioritize and manage projects to reduce defects, improve availability and find solutions to ongoing problems and identify, quantify, and qualify cost reduction projects
Serve as the liaison between facilities, vendor reps, and shift personnel
Interact with process owners and tool vendors to develop new hardware, software, and technologies related to process and hardware performance improvements
Write and publish reports that summarize equipment availability improvements and cost reduction projects
All team members are required to complete their learning items within the stipulated time frame
For business process and/or Quality Management System (QMS) component that one is responsible or accountable for:
a) ensuring the QMS/business process that is effective and conforms to requirements
b) ensuring that the processes are delivering their intended outputs
reporting on QMS/business process performance and opportunities for improvement to management
c) ensuring the promotion of internal and external customer focus throughout the organization
4) ensuring the maintenance of the integrity of the QMS/ business process when changes are planned and implemented
5) ensuring customer requirements are met
Requirements:
The candidate should possess a BSc or BEng in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical or Materials Engineering from a recognized institute of higher learning.
Good to have experience in cleanroom wafer fabs.
Good to have relevant internship experience or prior experience in semiconductor manufacturing.
Experience and willingness to work on non-standard working hours (e.g. compressed, 12-hour night shifts).
Outstanding organization, coordination and leadership skills - ability to coordinate and motivate team members from multiple sites and different backgrounds.
Skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and simple code writing desired.
Good to have relevant experience as emergency response team (ERT) or first-aid/first-responder is valued.
Self-motivated, self-governing with ability to work in a demanding and dynamic environment.
Curiosity and natural tendency of learning new things independently.
