Responsibilities:
. Oversee on-site visual inspections, load testing, and maintenance activities in accordance with MOM and other relevant guidelines.
. Liaise with Authorised Examiners (AE) and clients for witnessing activities and certificate renewals.
. Perform site visits, technical assessments, troubleshooting, and handle clients enquiries.
. Ensure full compliance with site safety requirements and company procedures.
. Prepare inspection reports, technical findings, and maintenance documentation.
. Ensure equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and ready for deployment.
. Maintain proper records of equipment usage, service reports, and project documentation.
. Coordinate projects, site activities, manpower, and subcontractors when required.
. Identify business opportunities during site visits and recommend suitable services to clients.
. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
. Support preparation of quotations, proposals, tenders, and service agreements.
. Work closely with the sales and operations teams to achieve business growth objectives.
. Promote the company's maintenance, inspection, testing, and certification services to clients.
. Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisors.
Requirements:
. NITEC / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline.
. Minimum 2 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, lifting equipment inspection, machinery servicing, or related industries.
. Hands-on experience with mechanical equipment, troubleshooting, maintenance, or load testing activities.
. Candidates with welding knowledge or experience will have an added advantage.
. Basic understanding of machinery and mechanical systems is required.
. Possess business development, sales, or customer relationship management experience will be an advantage.
. Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
. Able to identify customer needs and develop business opportunities.
. Independent, self-motivated, and results-oriented.
. Willing to work in an outdoor environment and travel to customer sites.
. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
. Valid local Class 3 driving licence holder.
. Class 4 driving licence will be an added advantage.
