Engineer (PCB Company) (NPI Engineer, Process Engineer, QA Engineer, Planning/CAD CAM) Salary: SGD3,000 - SGD4,300

Job scope:

NPI Engineer

Keep track of and improve the yield of NPI parts by working with customers, product , process and quality engineers.

Develop new processes & new methods to improve plant's capability in producing high end PCB. Evaluate and qualify new materials to meet customers requirement on electrical performance and thermal reliability of PCB.

To monitor and improve yield of NPI parts by working with Front End Engineering (FEE), Process Engineering, Manufacturing and Quality department.

Improve yield and lower cost of NPI parts by working with customer and supplier at design stage. Ensure timely delivery of NPI parts by working with Production Control (PC) and Manufacturing on scheduling.

To lead failure analysis and ensure good closure of customer feedback on NPI quality issues.

Conduct and update FMEA and Control Plan of NPI parts.

Ensure smooth transfer of NPI parts to production.

QA Engineer

-Manage IPQC Lab and FA/CoC team -Work with internal team to Identify root cause of issues and develop CAPA.

-Verify CAPA implementation / effectiveness.

-Review Customer specifications, Drawing and translate onto checklist.

-Review quality documentation ( WI, Control Plan, Customer Specific Requirements)

-Track quality assurance goals (LAT Yield (x-section).

-Lead a group of IPQC Inspectors & FA Technician to carry out in-process inspection as per requirements.

-Participate in Quality Improvement Program

-Conduct training to fellow colleagues, peers and /or subordinates.

-Any other tasks assigned by department lead.

Engineer (Planning/CAD CAM)

To review customers design and documents (CAD data, drawings, specifications, etc.) for better manufacturability and to provide proposals/feedback or seek clarifications from customers.

Perform process planning, generate part arrangement, Cam editing instructions and production documents for manufacturing processes.

Liaise with Cam section on generation of soft tooling to support production.

Liaise with tooling vendors on fabrication of hard tooling

Perform initial DFM (Design for Manufacturing) review prior to confirmation of customer's design or order.

Work with Material Planners and Purchasing on the processing and material positioning for the product.

To monitor and follow-up on production feedback via Engineering Change Request and to take the appropriate actions to implement upon appropriate approval process.

To maintain proper documentation and filing of parts tooled or reviewed.

Interfaces with design, process, test and reliability engineering to solve problems

Support Customer Service and Quality Engineers on customer's technical requests and inquiries.

To provide New Product Introduction (NPI) job attributes and process flow chart and conduct NPI meeting with Engineering, Production and Quality teams.

Support company's continuous productivity and quality improvements (e.g. panelization , utilization improvements, process flow simplification, update department checklist/guides, etc.).

Work with Process and Development Engineering Teams on process capabilities, design guidelines and new product developments.

Process Engineer

-Apply chemical/mechanical knowledge to daily operation, process troubleshooting and improvement

-Responsible for section quality KPI

-Work with different stakeholders ( ie. production team and suppliers) to investigate and troubleshoot process related problem

-Initiate evaluation work procedure and improve the existing processes

-Prepare and standardize work procedure and provide trainings to all relevant operators

-Responsible for quality and any discrepancies when arise

-Set quarterly MBO and review MBO ( Management by Objective)

-Initiate continuous cost reduction activity

-Any other duties as assigned
