ENGINEER / EXEC ENGINEER

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare tender proposal and costing
• Design and detailing of formwork and falsework/temporary structures
• Prepare method statements, shop drawings and fabrication drawings
• Plan and coordinate design and technical matters of projects
• Provide technical supports to other departments or business units
• Liaise with client's representatives and engineers to ensure smooth execution of the project
• Prepare bar bending schedules
• Prepare safe work procedures and risk assessment for the erection of formwork of falsework
• Any other duties to be assigned to you from time to time

Pre-requisites:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil and/or Structural Engineering/Construction-related field
• Experience in the design and detailing of steel structures will be preferred
• Proficient in AutoCAD
• Able to communicate well in English both orally and in writing
• Proactive and self-motivated in problem-solving
• Good time management and interpersonal skills

Working Environment:

• 5.5-day work week, with alternate half-day Saturday
• Staggered working hours
• Office based
• May need to visit project sites when required
