Responsibilities / Duties
- Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities
- Undertake the design and sizing of the technologies related to Energy Transition such as solar, wind, bio-mass, H2, CCUS, BESS, CCGTs etc
- Perform and/or check/review computer simulations such as PVSyst, WAsP, Homer Pro for the energy yield assessments and to optimize generation and efficiency.
- Develop design specifications on high level mechanical, electrical and digital systems of BoP
- Develop design specifications and functional requirements of the technologies
- Preparation and submission of proposals for new projects
- Support in tendering processes from RfP development till tender evaluation
- Support in project execution and commissioning activities such as preparing and monitoring project schedule, controlling communication and project document flow to meet deadlines, supervise contractors work on site and attend meetings with clients and other stakeholders
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor or Master degree (Hons) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from a University recognized by PEB (Singapore)
- Min 2 years of Experience in any one and few of the renewable energy technologies. Freshers can apply with strong academic background and passion in Energy Transition.
- Experience in the design and application of the renewable technologies solar, wind and energy enablers like BESS, complying with applicable local codes & standards will be an advantage
- Experience and familiar with HOMER, ETAP softwares, will be an advantage.
- Strong writing skills, verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical skills and ability to be an independent problem solver
- Team player and ability to work with and manage clients and stakeholders.
