The automotive industry is undergoing a major transformation since the invention of internal combustion engine nearly 150 years ago. Increasing level of autonomy and network connectivity has resulted in the demand of new generation in-vehicle networking technology using Automotive Ethernet.
Infineon is the global leader in the development of Automotive Ethernet products such as PHY and ethernet switch. When you join us, you get to work with a team of expert verification engineers who have successfully verified over 25 mass-production chips. You will assist in improving the quality of our chips to meet critical automotive requirements including functional safety, time sensitive networking, cybersecurity and traceability.
Your Role
Key responsibilities in your new role
- Use latest tools and methodologies such as UVM to develop state-of-the-art verification environment to verify the functionalities of automotive ethernet switches
- Formulate and develop coverage-driven, constrained random tests to catch pre-silicon design bugs
- Work with design engineers, verification architect to design test plan, coverage model and test suites to improve the quality of our chips to satisfy automotive customer requirements
- Engage in development of new verification methodologies and continuous workflow improvement to achieve certification in functional safety
Your Profile
Qualifications And Skills To Help You Succeed
- Master's / Bachelor's Degree in Electronic / Electrical Engineering or related fields (e.g. Computer Engineering, Communications Engineering, Computer Control and Automation) with coursework in digital logic design, coding, and networking
- Experiences in Object-oriented programming languages (e.g. Java, SystemVerilog, C++), but candidates with experience in other programming languages will also be considered.
- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g. Perl, Python, Make)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Curiosity in innovation/technology, with keeping up-to-date with latest technology development and latest business landscape of automotive ethernet
- Flexiblility with proactive and outcome-oriented mindset and excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work as individual contributor as well as a team player
