Job Summary
This dual-role Engineer cum Planner manages engineering design, production execution, and project scheduling to optimize resources and ensure alignment with safety, quality, and budget goals.
Responsibilities
- Create, maintain, and update detailed project schedules, milestones, and baselines to ensure timely delivery
- Review technical drawings to verify design accuracy and support production requirements
- Manage procurement of materials to meet project timelines and quality standards
- Provide engineering support during production to resolve technical issues and maintain workflow
- Coordinate manpower, equipment, and materials allocation to maximize productivity and operational efficiency
- Develop detailed project timelines that align production activities with safety, quality, and budgetary requirements
Required competencies and certifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- 3-5 years of experience in project planning, manufacturing, or technical engineering roles
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Strong analytical abilities to assess project progress and identify risks
- Problem-solving skills to address technical and operational challenges
- Ability to work independently under pressure to meet project deadlines
