Engineer (Calibration)

Responsibilities

• Attend to all customer calls.
• Performing thorough equipment inspections, calibration, adjustment & test/repair of equipment
• Scheduling appointments for test equipment due for calibration
• Ensuring laboratory equipment is calibrated as per specifications and standards
• Addressing and troubleshooting any test equipment failures and repairing of test equipment
• Maintaining and updating a record of all documentations of the calibration process
• Administering and monitoring effectiveness of calibration procedures
• Ensuring completion of tasks as per assigned deadlines.

Requirements

• Candidate must have a minimum ITE Education in Electronic/Electrical/Mechatronic/Biomedical Engineering certificate.
• Fundamental knowledge in Electronic/Electrical is a MUST.
• Perform hands-on calibration of equipment with basic repair skills and eventual issuance of Calibration Certificate.
• Good in basic mathematical calculation.
• Positive attitude and ability in proper planning of work assigned in a fast moving environment.
• Good accountability and responsibility towards work.
• Minimum 3 years proven work experience as a calibration technician or similar role
• Knowledge in ISO 7025 standard will be an advantage
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Hardworking, meticulous, team player and able to work independently
• Proficency in Microsoft Office is essential
