Job Description: We are seeking a passionate individual with interest in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Artificial Intelligence and data analytics. The ideal candidate will have a background in Big Data Analytics and will work closely with various business units and functions across the Group. This role involves providing valuable insights to the business on topics such as commercial operations, supply chain, manufacturing, finance, and marketing in a fast-moving consumer goods industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop machine learning (ML), deep learning (DL), and large language model (LLM) solutions.
- Evaluate and implement appropriate ML/DL/LLM algorithms.
- Transform data science prototypes into production-ready solutions.
- Identify and engineer relevant data sets and features.
- Perform statistical analysis and fine-tune models.
- Train and retrain models as necessary.
- Extend and reuse existing ML libraries and frameworks.
- Engage in data engineering, data visualization, and workflow automation.
Qualifications:
- BSc in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Relevant experience in machine learning, AI, and BI domains preferred.
- Proficiency in AI programming, ML/DL/LLM modelling, and statistical methods.
- Strong working knowledge of Python/R, SQL, Big Data, and cloud computing technologies.
- Experience with microservices, containers, API development, and middleware for data extraction will be an added advantage
- Familiarity with machine learning frameworks such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, and Keras.
- Technical skills in BI platforms, Big Data platforms like Hadoop/Spark, and NoSQL databases.
- Experience with BI visualization tools like Power BI.
- Understanding of business requirements and a drive to achieve practical outcomes.
- Knowledge of AutoML, Power Automate, Azure Fabric, and OneLake is a plus.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Good time management and teamwork abilities.
- Experience in the FMCG industry is a plus.
