Role Overview

As Delta's Energy Efficiency Specialist, you will be responsible for driving energy efficiency and sustainability outcomes across building and industrial facilities across customer sites through a versatile mix of technical expertise and stakeholder engagement. The successful candidate will conduct detailed energy audits, lead interactive workshops with diverse stakeholders, and identify tailored solutions from Delta's suite of offerings to address client needs. They will oversee the full cycle of project delivery from solution design to post-implementation performance analysis ensuring measurable energy savings and impact. In addition, the role involves business development of energy management projects, requiring adaptability, initiative, and a client-focused attitude to deliver value across varied contexts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive energy audits across building and industrial facilities across customer sites to identify efficiency opportunities.
  • Lead engaging energy workshops with diverse stakeholders to align on challenges and solutions.
  • Translate audit findings and workshop insights into actionable recommendations using Delta's suite of solutions.
  • Deliver detailed performance analysis reports post-implementation, tracking savings and operational improvements.
  • Drive business development by identifying, pursuing, and securing new energy management project opportunities.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure solutions are tailored to client needs and deliver measurable impact.
  • Demonstrate versatility in approach and attitude, adapting to varied client contexts and project requirements.

Competencies:

  • Industrial Energy Engineer or similar with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical Engineering or similar quantitative disciplines, with at least 8 years of working experience.
  • Know-how in energy efficiency applied to HVAC, cold production, thermal energy generation, compressed air systems, lighting systems, heat recovery systems, waste to energy systems and renewable energy systems
  • Good to have knowledge of energy market principles and trends (electricity and gas).
  • Good to have knowledge of sustainability, decarbonization and emission scopes
  • Knowledge of M&V protocols

Additional:

  • Registered Singapore Certified Energy Manager (SCEM) Professional; knowledge and experience in carrying out Level-III energy audits or equivalent
  • Holder of Investment Grade Energy Auditor Certification and/or Certified Measurement and Verification Professional is a big plus
  • Fluency in English with Mandarin, or Thai proficiency is preferred for stakeholder engagement. Knowledge of other regional languages such as Bahasa, and Vietnamese will be favorably considered.
