Join EQT as a Carry & Employee Operations professional, where you'll dive into complex data and support key fund and employee incentive operations. We're looking for someone analytical, tech-savvy and team-oriented to help drive operational excellence and insight.

About the Carry & Employee Operations team

The role sits within EQT's Fund Operations organization and operates at the intersection of fund operations, incentive structuring, and data management. The function is responsible for ensuring that EQT's carried interest and employee co-investment programs are executed accurately, consistently, and in line with governance and fund requirements.

About the role

The Carry & Employee Operations professional supports the operational management and administration of carried interest, employee co-investment (e.g., RegCo, LevCo), and related incentive structures across funds and strategies. The role requires close coordination with Investment Advisory, Fund Control, Legal, HR, Tax, Treasury, and external fund administrators.

Key responsibilities include:

Carried Interest Operations

. Maintain and validate carried interest allocation data across funds and vehicles.

. Support the implementation and administration of carry schemes, including eligibility tracking and allocation adjustments.

. Review and reconcile carry calculations, distributions, and reporting received from fund administrators.

. Coordinate with Fund Control and external administrators to ensure correct accounting treatment and data integrity.

. Support scenario analysis and modeling related to carry allocations and outcomes.

Employee Co-Investment & Incentive Schemes

. Support the launch and operational management of employee co-investment schemes.

. Manage subscription processes, commitment tracking, drawdowns, and related participant communications.

. Ensure operational alignment between scheme documentation and fund-level events (e.g., closings and distributions).

. Monitor and reconcile participant-level data across internal systems and administrator platforms.

Data Management & Controls

. Maintain structured datasets related to incentive schemes and employee investments.

. Perform reconciliations between internal records and third-party administrator reports.

. Identify discrepancies and coordinate resolution with relevant stakeholders.

. Contribute to strengthening internal controls, governance processes, and documentation standards.

About you

You're a proactive and structured thinker, eager to make an impact through analytical excellence and thoughtful collaboration. You enjoy solving complex problems and translating numbers into clear, actionable insights.

Essential skills & experience:

. Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Finance, Business or a related quantitative field.

. Strong analytical skills, with demonstrated experience in data modeling and problem solving.

. Proficiency in managing and interpreting large or complex datasets.

. Experience with data tools or platforms (e.g., Excel, SQL, Power BI, Python, NotebookLM or similar).

. Ability to explain technical data and models clearly to non-technical audiences.

. Interest in (or familiarity with) private equity structures, carried interest and employee equity programs.

. Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

. High attention to detail, accuracy and structure in your work.

Nice to have:

. Experience working in fund operations, financial services or private equity.

. Familiarity with digital transformation or process improvement projects.

. Comfort navigating sensitive or confidential topics.
