EMBEDDED SOFTWARE ENGINEER

We are looking for experienced embedded software technical specialist to design and develop software for embedded systems incorporated in medical devices.

Start Date :- Immediate to Start

Job Type :-Contract : 12 months +

Work Location :- Sydney Australia

Duties:

. Design and develop software components to support medical device product development.

. Develop and/or refine key algorithms used in medical device products including motor control and sensor control

. Deliver high performance, robust, validated software technology conforming to medical software development regulations

. Produce software design documents as required

. Contribute to embedded software architecture design for medical devices

. Conform to mandated processes for medical device software development.

Skills:

. qualifications in Software Engineering, Computer Science or related field.

. At least 5 years experience in embedded software developmen tpreferably in machine control applications.

. Experience in a regulated industry (preferably medical) will be favorably considered.

. Advanced coding skills in C and C++

. Advanced Python scripting skills

. Advanced knowledge of embedded operating systems (FreeRTOS, SafeRTOS)

. Strong focus on delivering quality software according to project timelines

. Advanced written and oral communication skills with ability to work in a collaborative environment
