The Embassy of Hungary in Singapore is seeking a positive and motivated person to take up position of Chauffeur.
The Chauffeur at the Embassy of Hungary in Singapore plays a key role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of diplomats, personnel, and materials. This role requires a professional with a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and excellent service.
The candidate will be responsible for a variety of duties but not limited to as outlined below.
The Chauffeur Would Be Responsible For
- Driving safely within Singapore as assigned
- Transportation of Embassy's diplomats, delegations and guests within the city and the surrounding areas
- Assistance and support to the Embassy Team whenever the need arises
- Maintenance of the Embassy's official vehicles - cleaning, repairs, on-time servicing to meet safety standards, record-keeping of vehicle movements
- Manage and ensure petrol is filled and cash card balances are sufficient
- Perform basic repairs and maintenance tasks when required
- Supporting routine and urgent dispatch work including errands
- Ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the Executive Assistant to the Ambassador
Requirements
- Valid Class 3 license with minimum 3 years experience with clean driving record
- Responsible, punctual and reliable
- Possess excellent road navigation skills
- Physically fit, alert with sound knowledge of traffic and road safety regulations
- Flexible and able to work outside office hours as and when required (night, weekend, Public Holiday)
- Works well in a team
- Good command of English
- Good knowledge of everyday handyman skills
- Basic computer navigation skills
