ELV Systems Design Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced ELV Systems Design Engineer who is capable of independently handling system design and coordination work for Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in designing ELV systems for commercial and industrial projects and be able to deliver without requiring additional training or supervision.

Key Responsibilities

-Design and develop ELV systems including but not limited to:

• CCTV
• Access Control
• Structured Cabling
• Public Address, Car park system
• Audio-Visual, Video analysis
• Fire Alarm (as applicable)
• Network and Server Room Layouts

-Prepare detailed drawings, schematics, and technical submissions.

-Conduct technical reviews of specifications and tender requirements.

-Collaborate with project and sales teams to provide technical proposals and design solutions.

-Interface with consultants, main contractors, and clients for design coordination.

-Ensure all designs meet local regulatory standards and client requirements.

-Perform site surveys and support installation teams when required.

-Provide accurate BoM and cost estimates for design deliverables.

-Stay updated with the latest ELV technologies and industry trends.

Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of proven working experience in ELV system design
• Proficiency in AutoCAD knowledge of Revit/BIM is an advantage
• Deep understanding of ELV system architecture and integration
• Familiar with local codes (e.g. SS, BCA, SCDF standards)
• Able to read and interpret M&E drawings
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Immediate availability or short notice is a plus
