Role: ELK Stack Engineer (Team Lead)

JD:
Required Experience:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with the ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) in large-scale, multi-client environments

• Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Team Lead / Technical Lead managing ELK implementations

• Experience leading and mentoring engineers (task allocation, technical guidance, performance monitoring)

• Proven expertise in onboarding and normalizing logs from various infrastructure devices (network, storage, servers)

• Deep understanding of log formats (Syslog, SNMP, vendor-specific), device management protocols, and log forwarding best practices

• Experience designing and optimizing Logstash pipelines for high-throughput environments

• Strong scripting skills (Shell, Python)

• Familiarity with ITSM integration (e.g., ServiceNow) including automated alert-to-incident workflows

• Proficient in Git version control

• Experience with security and compliance requirements for infrastructure log management

• Ability to coordinate with Network, Security, and Infrastructure teams to drive project delivery

Technical Exposure:

• Infrastructure: Cisco, Juniper, EMC, NetApp, HPE, Linux, Windows, VMware

• Log Management: Logstash pipeline design, Syslog/SNMP integration, parsing, enrichment

• ELK Stack: Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, Elastic Agents, Beats

• Automation: Shell scripting, Python, configuration management tools

• Integration: ServiceNow, ITSM platforms, API-based automation
