About the Role
As a QC Engineer, you will play a vital role in maintaining product quality and ensuring compliance with internal and external standards. This role requires cross-functional collaboration, on-site inspections, and driving corrective actions in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Process and Engineering teams to uphold quality standards
- Conduct in-process and final QC (FQC) audits with proper documentation
- Identify and resolve quality issues by supporting corrective/preventive actions
- Develop inspection criteria and maintain quality plans in line with ISO and regulatory requirements
- Support Supplier Quality Assurance (SQA) and incoming material inspections
- Participate in internal quality improvement initiatives and maintain QC documentation
Requirements
- Diploma in Manufacturing, Quality Engineering, or a related discipline
- Minimum 1 year of QC experience in electronics manufacturing or similar environment
- Knowledge of SQA and audit processes (incoming, in-process, outgoing)
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, 14001, 13485, 45001, and FDA standards
- Understanding of IPC-A-610 or equivalent PCB/assembly standards
- Exposure to QC processes for plastic molding, die casting, metal stamping, or machining parts
Preferred Skills
- IPC or Six Sigma (Green Belt) certification is an advantage
- Proficiency in SAP QM, Minitab, or other quality/statistical tools
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and effective communicator across teams
