Are you a recent graduate or early career engineer excited to work on cutting edge technologies The Quantum Innovation Centre at A.STAR is looking for an independent and motivated Electronics Engineer to join our team in developing next generation quantum sensors for real world applications.
About the Role:
As an electronics engineer, you will be part of a multi disciplinary and collaborative team working on the design, assembly, and testing of electronic components in a practical quantum sensor. You will gain hands on experience and be mentored by experienced engineers and scientists in a supportive and intellectually stimulating environment.
Key Responsibilities:
.Assist in the design and layout of PCBs using tools such as KiCAD.
.Perform SPICE simulations to validate circuit designs.
.Support the assembly and testing of electronic sub systems for quantum sensors.
.Oversee the procurement of electronic components and services, including vendor communication and technical documentation.
.Assist in component selection through market surveys and technical evaluations.
.Collaborate with physicists, mechanical engineers, and other team members to ensure system integration.
Job Requirements:
.Bachelor or Master degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or a related field.
.Some experience in at least one of the following: PCB layout design (e.g., using KiCAD or similar tools) or SPICE simulations for analog/digital circuits.
.Strong interest in electronics design and emerging technologies.
.Good organizational and communication skills.
.A proactive, hands on attitude and eagerness to learn.
