Electronic Heavy Machine Electrician (RECLAMATION)

Job Description:

• Carry out installation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems for heavy machinery and construction equipment (e.g. excavators, cranes, piling machines, lifting equipment).

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults involving wiring, control panels, switches, relays, sensors, and electrical components.

• Perform routine and preventive electrical maintenance to ensure safe and reliable operation of machines.

• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.

• Carry out electrical wiring, termination, testing, and commissioning works.

• Support machinery modification, upgrading, and new equipment electrical installation.

• Ensure all electrical works comply with site safety requirements and company procedures.

• Attend site breakdowns and provide timely electrical troubleshooting support.

• Prepare basic maintenance and repair records and report issues to supervisors.

Job Requirements:

• Certificate / Diploma in Electrical, Industrial Electrical, or related field.

• 2-5 years of relevant experience as an electrician for heavy machinery, construction equipment, or industrial machines.

• Strong knowledge of low-voltage electrical systems and control circuits.

• Able to read and understand electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.

• Hands-on troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently on site.

• Familiar with construction site safety regulations.

• Possession of a valid Electrical License / Electrician Certificate is an advantage.

• Willing to work on construction sites and respond to emergency breakdowns.

• Responsible, safety-conscious, and a good team player.
