About The Role
In this role, you will learn about Industrial Automation domain, PLCs, Industrial PCs, and IO modules. You will support the PLC hardware development team in designing, testing, and validating electronic circuits and systems, contributing to the development of next-generation industrial automation solutions.
What will you do
- Assist in schematic design, simulation and PCB layout using EDA tools such as Pspice, Ltspice and Cadence.
- Support hardware verification activities, including lab testing, debugging, and documentation.
- Perform component selection and BOM management under guidance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (firmware, software, verification test) to ensure design integration.
- Contribute to design reviews and provide documentation for hardware development processes.
- Using AI Agent to support the hardware verification test and improve the efficiency
- Maintain lab equipment and support test automation setups.
What qualifications will make you successful for this role
- Education:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field.
- Skills/Systems Knowledge:
- Basic understanding of analog and digital circuit design.
- Familiarity with microcontrollers, power supplies, and communication interfaces (e.g., UART, SPI, I2C, RS-485).
- Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout tools is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with lab instruments (oscilloscope, multimeter, power supply).
- Basic knowledge of EMC, signal integrity, or thermal considerations is a bonus.
- Knowledge in Python for hardware automation (eg. PyVISA/Serial) and capable of leveraging AI Agent frameworks (e.g., LangChain) to transform static test scripts into autonomous, reasoning-based testing systems
- Soft Skills:

- Good communication and teamwork skills.
