Electronic Component Inspector (West/ AWS + VB)

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct visual inspections of electronic components prior to shipment, verifying part numbers, quantities, and checking for any visible damage.

• Review and interpret specification sheets and technical documentation to ensure product requirements are met.

• Prepare inspection and discrepancy reports with accurate documentation of findings.

• Perform tape and reel operations when required.

• Work closely with procurement and account management teams to address and resolve material-related issues.

• Conduct functional testing of electronic components and systems using appropriate testing equipment.

• Maintain awareness of relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements related to electronic component inspection.

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to support product reliability and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in an inspection or quality control role.

• Experience in the electronics industry would be advantageous.

• Good organisational and documentation skills.

• Ability to manage tasks effectively in a fast-paced operational environment.

• Familiarity with precision measuring instruments would be beneficial.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accuracy in inspection work.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
