Core Responsibilities
- Installation:Install electrical wiring, lighting systems, fixtures, and equipment in accordance with project plans and blueprints.
- Maintenance:Conduct routine inspections, tests, and preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment to ensure their proper function.
- Repair:Diagnose and fix electrical issues, malfunctions, and outages by repairing or replacing faulty wiring, equipment, or fixtures.
- Safety & Compliance:Adhere to all relevant safety standards and building codes, ensuring work is safe and compliant with local regulations.
Key Tasks
- System Planning:Interpret electrical blueprints and technical diagrams to execute wiring plans and electrical system designs.
- Equipment Installation:Install various electrical components, including outlets, switches, circuit breakers, and other electrical apparatus.
- Testing & Troubleshooting:Use testing devices like ammeters and voltmeters to identify and resolve electrical problems.
- System Upgrades:Upgrade existing electrical systems to enhance efficiency and capacity when needed.
- Record Keeping:Document all work completed, including repairs, materials used, and time spent.
- Collaboration:Work effectively with other electricians, contractors, and team members to ensure smooth project execution.

- Technical Knowledge: Expertise in electrical systems, wiring, and safety regulations.
- Troubleshooting: Ability to diagnose and correct electrical malfunctions.
- Blueprint Reading: Skill in interpreting technical diagrams and schematics.
