Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Electrician to join our engineering team. You will be responsible for the on-site installation, commissioning, and maintenance of our agricultural systems and lighting projects, ensuring safe, efficient, and stable operation of equipment. Key Responsibilities:
- Equipment Installation: Perform on-site installation, wiring, and commissioning of SMART-AGRO vertical farming systems, EZYGRO and a-lite LED luminaires, and related electrical equipment.
- Pipe Connection: Complete the connection and testing of agricultural irrigation systems, water supply, and drainage pipes according to system design requirements, ensuring no leaks and proper operation.
- Electrical Maintenance: Regularly inspect on-site electrical equipment and wiring, promptly identify and troubleshoot faults to ensure the safe and stable operation of systems.
- On-site Coordination: Maintain good communication with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure installation work complies with technical specifications and project schedules.
- Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to site safety regulations and electrical operating procedures to ensure personal and team safety during operations.
- Documentation: Accurately record technical parameters and problem-solving actions during installation, commissioning, and maintenance.
Qualifications:
- Licensing & Experience: Possess a valid electrician license (e.g., EW direction certificate) and a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in Singapore.
- Technical Skills: Familiar with electrical wiring, distribution box installation, lighting connections, and basic pipe connection skills capable of reading electrical schematics and installation diagrams.
- Safety Awareness: Strong safety awareness and familiarity with construction site safety regulations.
- Physical Requirements: Able to adapt to on-site working environments, including climbing and moving moderately heavy equipment.
- Language: Able to understand basic work instructions (in either Mandarin or English) and communicate simply.
- Driving License: Possession of a valid Singapore Class 3 driving license is preferred (to drive a van to sites).
