Job Description & Requirements
We are seeking a skilled and responsible Electrician to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment for building projects and facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, systems, fixtures, and equipment in compliance with local electrical regulations and safety standards.
- Diagnose electrical faults and carry out timely corrective actions to minimize downtime and ensure operational efficiency.
- Conduct inspections of electrical systems, components, and equipment to identify defects, hazards, or maintenance requirements.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, electrical schematics, and blueprints to ensure accurate installation and system configuration.
- Perform electrical testing and ensure all installations meet required specifications and safety standards.
- Work closely with supervisors, contractors, and team members to complete projects efficiently and within deadlines.
- Follow workplace safety procedures, company policies, and industry best practices to maintain a safe working environment.
- Carry out preventive maintenance and support upgrading or modification works when required.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Building Electrician or in a similar role.
- Good knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and safety regulations.
- Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and technical documents.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physically fit and willing to work on-site when required.
- Relevant electrical certification or license will be an advantage.
