Job Description
- Repair and/or rebuild NOV equipment at the TBD Workshop and any assigned job as directed by the management.
- Perform assembly and disassembly of Drilling equipment
- Conduct pre-testing and assist with final testing of equipment
- Inspect components for wear, damage, and compliance with specifications
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Follow all NOV policies, procedures, and health, safety, and environmental requirements
- Complete required documentation and inspection records
- Perform Related duties as assigned
Requirement
- Education: NITEC, Higher NITEC, or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- Experience: 5-10 years in Oil and Gas Industry, preferably NOV Drilling equipment
- Technical Skills: Ability to troubleshoot electromechanical equipment and interpret technical diagrams.
- Specialized Knowledge: Familiarity with hydraulic components, NOV Equipment, AC/DC motors, and electrical circuits.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, high discipline, ability to work independently, and a strong safety focus. Knowledgeable on MS apps.
- Requirements: Physical fitness for a hands-on workshop setting.
