Experience
This position is an Electrical System Engineer responsible for the on-site supervision, interface coordination, and execution support of electrical systems for high-tech manufacturing facilities.
Candidates with experience in high-tech facility construction are highly preferred, with a solid understanding of electrical system design and installation, site management, integration of testing and commissioning schedules, and effective cross-disciplinary interface coordination.
Years of Experience
Minimum 3-5 years of site experience in electrical works for semiconductor fabs, high-tech facilities, or industrial construction projects.
Licenses
Candidates shall possess qualifications and licenses in compliance with applicable local regulations and authority requirements.
Others
1. Bachelor's degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
2. Language Requirements: Proficient in both English and Chinese ability to communicate in Taiwanese or an additional language is an advantage.
3. Strong hands-on experience in on-site supervision of electrical installations.
4. Able to read and interpret Electrical-related drawings.
5.Familiar with construction sequencing, site coordination, and subcontractor management.
6. Able to work independently on site, and coordinate effectively with project teams, subcontractors, and Clients.
7. Able to communicate effectively with site teams, subcontractors, Clients, and authorities.
8. Willing to work in a site-based and shift-based environment, as required by the project.
Responsibilities
1. Provide on-site supervision and coordination for electrical system installation works in semiconductor fabrication facilities.
2. Monitor electrical construction activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project requirements.
3. Able to read and interpret electrical drawings, shop drawings, and technical specifications to support effective site execution and issue resolution.
4. Coordinate with on-site interface teams to ensure electrical works are properly aligned with construction progress and equipment installation schedules.
5. Supervise and support installation of power systems, including HV/LV distribution, transformers, UPS, generators, grounding, and lightning protection systems.
6. Support testing, commissioning, and energization activities, including site readiness and interface coordination with vendors and utility providers.
7.Identify and report site issues related to workmanship, safety, design discrepancies, or system interfaces, and support corrective actions.
8. Participate in site inspections, system handovers, and coordination meetings with Clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
9. Perform duties as assigned by the Electrical System Leader / Construction Manager.
