Electrical Supervisor - Semiconductor

TECHLEAD TECHNOLOGY PTE. LTD. is a Singapore subsidiary of our Taiwan headquartered group specialising in the semiconductor with operations in Taiwan, Japan, Singapore and the United States.
As our Singapore operations continue to expand, we are looking for an Electrical Supervisor to support and supervise electrical installation works for our semiconductor facility engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate electrical installation works at semiconductor and high-tech project sites.
- Plan daily site activities and allocate work to electricians, technicians and workers.
- Ensure electrical works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, method statements and project requirements.
- Monitor installation works including cable laying, cable tray/trunking, electrical panels, power distribution, equipment connection, earthing and related electrical systems.
- Check workmanship and ensure works meet required quality and safety standards.
- Coordinate with Project Engineers, Electrical Engineers, QA/QC, Safety personnel, subcontractors and customers on site activities.
- Monitor project progress and ensure electrical works are completed according to the required schedule.
- Conduct site inspections and identify installation issues, defects or non-conformities.
- Coordinate and follow up on rectification works.
- Support electrical testing, inspection, commissioning and project handover activities.
- Ensure workers use appropriate PPE and comply with Workplace Safety & Health (WSH), customer and site safety requirements.
- Conduct or participate in toolbox meetings and daily work coordination where required.
- Maintain relevant site records, work progress updates, inspection records and supporting documentation.
- Report site progress, manpower requirements and technical issues to the Project Engineer/Manager.
- Ensure proper use and control of Company tools, equipment and materials at the project site.
- Perform other project and electrical supervisory duties as assigned.
Requirements
- NITEC/Higher NITEC/Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, Building Services or a related discipline.
- Relevant experience supervising electrical installation works, M&E works or engineering projects.
- Experience in semiconductor fab/facility engineering projects will be an advantage.
- Good understanding of electrical installation works and site practices.
- Able to read and understand electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, layouts and technical specifications.
- Able to supervise workers and coordinate daily site activities effectively.
- Familiar with electrical testing, inspection and commissioning activities.
- Good understanding of workplace and electrical safety requirements.
- Strong site coordination, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently and coordinate effectively with engineers, contractors and customers.
- Responsible, safety-conscious and able to work in a fast-paced project environment.
- Willing to be deployed to different customer/project sites within Singapore according to operational requirements.
